The 2017 ANZAC Day posters commemorate significant First World War battles and focus on the Centenary of the Flanders Offensive of the Sinai-Palestine Campaign.
The first poster, commemorating the Centenary of the Flanders Offensive, highlights the experiences of Australians serving on the Western Front in Belgium during 1917, a year in which more than 76,000 Australians became casualties on the Western Front, including some 22,000 who lost their lives.
The second poster depicts Australians riding through Jerusalem, which fell to the Allies in December 1917, after a year of hard fighting that included the battles of Gaza and Beersheba.
