Last but not the least: Araluen Botanical Gardens.
Situated in the Perth Hills, Araluen Botanic Park boasts 59 hectares of developed gardens featuring a diverse variety of exotic species in addition to the profusion of native plant species.
Internationally recognised Camellias, tea roses and the ever-popular tulips can all be found at Araluen, flourishing amongst a native backdrop of Eucalyptus, Marri, and Blackbutt.
Also enjoy the presence of a range of native wildlife, including marsupials, birds, reptiles, and water creatures.
It’s Yates Springtime at Araluen from 22nd August to 20th September, when visitors can feast their eyes on 120,000 tulips planted throughout the picturesque grounds of Araluen Botanic Park.
Dubbed ‘Heaven in the Hills’, Araluen Botanic Park is just 35km southeast of the Perth CBD. The park is open every day of the year (except Christmas Day), from 9-6 pm.
