The Mandurah Filipino Sports Club (MFSCI) had intense activity from September to November, participating in sports tournaments, organizing fundraising events and volunteering for the Ironman big sport event in Mandurah.
Mandurah Youth Olympics 2015. The Club participated on the 26 to 28 of September event, providing first-aid kits, chess equipment, sound systems, and also organizing the referees for the basketball and volleyball games.
3 on 3 Solomon’s Slam. The Solomon’s Slam was a full day 3 on 3 Basketball tournament fundraising for CDH Australia. During the same day, 11th of October, the MFSCI also organized a GK (Gawad Kalinga) Charity Quest. It was a day of sports Relay for a good cause.
Ironman 70.3 Mandurah. The Club members were volunteering during the 8th of November event, with big appraisal from the Ironman staff, athletes and the local community for an outstanding contribution in the activi- ties of parking assistants, pedestrian crossing control and transition assistants. The Club volunteers also contributed distributing the flyers in Mandurah prior to the event.
Zumba for A Cause. One of the fundraising drive for the MFSCI GK Ambassador Jazel Caswang was the Zumba for A Cause, thank you to the Zumba instructor Mary Lou Nicolas. The MFSCI organised two events, one indoor by 11th of October and other outdoor by 15th of November.
